Attribute is disabled for edit

Problem

Some rows in Attribute mapping table are disabled for edit:

  • Media Gallery
  • Categories
  • Super Attributes

It happens only in connector 6.5.0.0 or older.

Solution

There is no solution as this is NOT an issue - all those attributes are exported automaticaly.

In connector version 6.6.0.0 was introduced new general configuration option Show multi-attribute rows in attribute mapping table (No by default) so all those attributes are hidden by default in Attribute mapping table, although you may enable it's rendering.

Usage

There is only one case when you really need to enable this new option - if you want to export images or categories from parent products to child products. In this case you would see only one editable option on the corresponding row:

  • Export parent product attribtue value
