Apart from new features and many improvements implemented in Koongo Connector version 6.2.1.0, the following changes were also introduced:

License validation mechanism

In Koongo Connector ver. 6.2.1.0  he license validation process was improved. Specifically, the Support & Updates period is no more part of the License key (the case of 6.1.0.0 and older versions) but is stored directly at Koongo Server (the case of 6.2.1.0 and newer). The consequences for you as a Koongo user are as follows:

• If your Support & Updates period has expired, you may decide to renew it in order to be allowed to download the connector and feed updates as well as to get the access to Koongo support team. For details see /wiki/spaces/koongo/pages/787751. If you decide so, the next step depends on the connector version you use:
  • If you use version 6.1.0.0 and older, we will send you a new License key that you have to insert at connector configuration page. And then you may proceed with Getting Feeds and Taxonomies.
  • If you use version 6.2.1.0 and newer, no further steps regarding the License key are required. The License key remains without changes and you can seamlessly proceed with Getting Feeds and Taxonomies.
